Lifted Research Group, also known as L-R-G Clothing, is a clothing brand which produces urban and skateboarding streetwear and accessories.
LRG clothing was founded in 1999 by Jonas Bevacqua and MC Robert Wright who intially met through a co-worker while collaborating Hip Hop music with Wright's crew.
In 2005 the LRG clothing brand decided to launch a womens wear line known as Luxirie by LRG. In the beginning the Luxirie clothing brand by LRG had moderate success, much like the original streetwear brand. However, in less than a year, the Luxirie by LRG clothing brand grew at a fast rate which created a demand from women's Hip Hop and streetwear fashion culture.
LRG has become a fashion powerhouse in Urban, Pop, Hip Hop, and streetwear cultures with their crazy designs, such as the LRG Dead Serious Hoody that was one of the hottest sellers in 2007.
